Our Purpose.

The Doddington and Rollo Community Association Ltd generally called the DRCA was incorporated in 1983 to provide in North Battersea and on the Doddington and Rollo Estates opportunities for recreation, education, training and employment, through the provision of Community Centre halls for recreation and community activities and a Business Centre providing a hub for training, education and employment, while providing goods and services.

The DRCA was originally set up and funded by the local council, the London Borough of Wandsworth to provide support for the local community. When the DRCA achieved financial independence from the local borough, it continued its development and officially became a charity in 2002. Following its charitable status, the DRCA set aside office space on the first floor of its building, known as the “Charity Wing”. This space is offered at a subsidised rate to other small charitable organisations who would further support the DRCA and Wandsworth with their shared aims and objectives within the area.
