RESIDENTS in South London are “pretty excited” for two new Tube stations to open – but wish lines were extended even further.

It comes as the Northern line extension will open on September 20 at Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms – home to the famous Sky Pool.

The £1 billion transport investment has been over 10 years in the making and will run from Kennington station on the Charing Cross branch.
