Schoolchildren, parents and Battersea residents have painstakingly designed a mosaic to celebrate the long history of the community.
The artwork at Shaftesbury Park Primary School, in Ashbury Road, is a mural which is said to represent the journey of the school – from the site’s lavender fields to its ‘dynamic’ bilingual and ‘enterprise’ curriculum – as well as the community it inhabits
